Fundraising
The Castle Campaign is Rockwood Valley's direct donation fundraiser. 100% of your donation to Rockwood Valley Middle School's Parent-Staff Organization (PSO) directly benefits the students, the staff, and the school.
After more than a year of uncertainty and unpredictability, the PSO is ready to tackle the new school year with the same energy and excitement as always. The PSO plans to continue funding all of the wonderful things we supported last year, as well as, return to supporting the many things that were put on hold during the 2020-2021 school year.
Please consider making a direct donation to the RVMS Castle Cam
paign to help fund all the wonderful things that make RVMS special for our students, staff, and families.
With a minimum donation of $35.00, you have access to all of the Membership Toolkit Parent Portal features, PLUS the Online Buzz Book.
Check with your employer to see if they have a Corporate Match Program that will increase your donation value!

Once every few months, the PSO schedules a Dine-to-Donate with area restaurants. Each of these restaurants are big supports of RVMS and while they are committed to giving a portion of your dollars spent back to our school, we are also supporting our local restaurants. Everyone needs a night off of cooking, especially with all our busy schedules.
The RVMS PSO School Store is operated by parent volunteers. The school store offers healthy snacks, along with school supplies and F.A.C.S. kits. Four times a year, we are allowed to have Fun Food Fridays where the store sells things that are not sold on a normal day. Some Fun Food Friday treats that have been offered are soft pretzels, donuts, a variety of candy, and carbonated drinks. Students can pay cash or use their School Store punch cards to purchase items in the store.
The PSO relies on our volunteers to manage the school store inventory, plan for Fun Food Friday and sell F.A.C.S. Kits throughout the school year. Working in the school store duing the school year is a wonderful way to volunteer in the school and see your students during their lunch shift.

The PSO works with school supply kit companies to offer families the convenience of purchasing one kit with most everything your students will need during the school year. We work with the company to create the supply kits with everything required for each grade-level and they put the kits together. The supply kits are sold from May through August. Kits can be picked up at a Back-to-School Orientation or shipped to your home. Let us do the work, so you don't have to.
