Staff Recognitions – Days to be recognized – Principal, Custodians, Counselors, Paraprofessional, Librarians, Nurse, Cafeteria Staff, SRO, bus drivers, administrative assistants. PSO has already recognized custodians and principals – Tiffany has been handling personally, but a decision needs to be made on which days will be recognized and how much to budget. School is already doing some sort of recognition for most of these and more. Discussion followed for PSO to have a small token gift and note (flowers, snacks, or small plant). Agreed that gift will be approximately $15 per person.

-
School Store – Going well, in good shape for volunteers. Discussion about trying find a way for digital tracking of punch cards / purchases.
-
Fun Food Friday – First one went well, may need to more clearly communicate the rules or limits next time. May need to stock more candy next time. Next one is scheduled for December.
-
FACS Kits – Supplies in for new kits and a few replacements were made for quality issues with the fall kits (pin cushion too hard, pins to weak and head too small, and scissors ok for paper but not fabric). New items have been purchased for the second semester kits.
-
School Supply Kits – Check from this spring has been deposited.

School Events - Stephanie Stempf –
-
Glow Bash – Round of applause for the great organization by Stephanie. Check-in process went much more smoothly this year. Separating by grade helped. Next year looking at 2 sessions – each 1.5 hours with a short break in between. 35 kids on the waitlist did not attend this year (and there were 12 no shows). Will need double prizes with 2 sessions, but may scale back. 2 sessions should help with traffic flow as well. Snacks may need to be tweaked for next year (no candy, possibly use Rockwood for the small goldfish/ Cheez-it elementary sized snacks). Still need to reconcile all of the numbers and update budget to actual.
-
Fun Run – Possibly to include rising 6th graders in the event. Looking to keep it on RVMS property.
-
Trivia Night – Still looking for co-chairs, and there has been some interest. Discussed having the Board keep responsibility for the trivia questions to keep it consistent, lesson the load for the co-chairs, and the plan is to have 4 sets of questions to recycle. Date is tentatively March 8th
-
